Most manufacturers of floating pumps state only maximum flow rate in their performance parameters. In terms of the use of a floating pump this parameter is only theoretically achievable.
When pumping from a water source it is usually necessary to overcome a terrain elevation (delivery height) and transport the water through a hose line. During this process certain pressure losses occur which affect the final flow and pressure values.
Therefore, we recommend monitoring the flow rates given at different pressures (pressure losses).
